Are there tables and seating areas on site?
We provide numerous seating options and tables in our event room, outdoor area, spectator grandstand, and lounge area where you can relax during breaks.
Each table accommodates approximately 8 adults or 10 children. We provide sufficient seating based on your group size to ensure that all guests have enough space.
Please note: Fixed table reservations are not possible. Seating areas are flexibly available, but we always ensure that each group has adequate space.
Do you have parking on site?
Yes, we provide ample private parking spaces directly at the event center.
Are you easily accessible by public transportation?
Yes, two subway/tram stops are located within approximately a 5-minute walk from the LaserTag Evolution Event Center. The connection to Düsseldorf’s Old Town is particularly convenient – you can reach Heinrich-Heine-Allee station within 12 minutes without changing trains. You can find detailed directions using public transport here.
Are showers available?
No, we do not offer shower facilities. We recommend bringing a small towel and/or a change of shirt for LaserTag and Pixel, which is usually completely sufficient.
Where can I change clothes?
There are two lockable changing rooms located near the restrooms.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed to participate in LaserTag or the other entertainment experiences. However, they are welcome to stay with you on a leash. Please note that our event center can sometimes be quite busy and loud, so your dog should be comfortable in such an environment.
Is photography allowed?
Yes, photography is permitted in our public areas. However, we do not recommend bringing cameras or smartphones onto the LaserTag or Pixel playing fields while participating.
We also offer to take a group photo during your visit, which you can send to yourself on-site via email, WhatsApp, or AirDrop at our “Share Station.” We appreciate it if you tag us on social media and share your experience with LaserTag, Pixel, Quizy, and the Mind Arena.
Are there lockers for clothing and valuables?
Yes, we provide video-monitored lockers that can be secured with a self-selected PIN code.
Can I bring decorations for my celebration?
Yes! As long as tables are left tidy afterward (apart from cake crumbs), you are welcome to decorate as you wish. However, confetti and glitter are not permitted, as they are very difficult to remove.
How can I see how many other guests are playing at my preferred time?
When you click the “Book Now” button on our website, you will be redirected to our booking page. There, you can choose whether you would like to book LaserTag, Pixel, Quizy, or the Mind Arena.
During the booking process, you can select your preferred date and time. The system will show the remaining available player slots for that time (e.g., “25 remaining”).
Why is the total stay longer than the actual playing time?
We intentionally plan the total duration generously so you can enjoy your visit in a relaxed way. In addition to the playing time, we include arrival, a detailed briefing, game breaks, and time to wind down together.
This ensures sufficient buffer time in case something takes a little longer and allows you to fully enjoy your visit to our event center.
I am organizing a children’s birthday party. Do I need parental consent forms?
No, parental consent forms are not required.
What should I keep in mind before arriving for our booking?
There isn’t much to prepare before your visit. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled game time to ensure a smooth start. Also, take note of the information provided in your booking confirmation email.
We already wish you a fantastic time – whether at LaserTag, Quizy, Pixel, or the Mind Arena at our event center! 😊
ABOUT LASERTAG
Is LaserTag dangerous?
No, LaserTag is no more dangerous than other team sports. Unlike paintball, no projectiles are used. The “laser beam” itself is completely harmless. It consists of an infrared signal (similar to what is used in TV remote controls) combined with a Class 1 laser beam.
From what age can I play LaserTag?
LaserTag can be played in our arena from the age of 7 and a minimum height of 1.30 meters (4 ft 3 in).
Is LaserTag suitable for children?
Not all LaserTag experiences are the same. It strongly depends on the design of the arena and the equipment. In our arena, children are allowed to play because our system is not a war simulation and includes playful, educational elements.
Players do not “shoot with guns,” but strategically tag opponents using a phaser. Children develop teamwork, concentration, and precision in order to succeed.
How many people can play LaserTag?
Between 2 and 33 players can participate in a single LaserTag game at the same time.
If you come alone, that’s no problem – you can simply join another group.
If your group exceeds 33 players, that’s also not an issue. We organize the event so that one group plays while the other takes a break. Even events with 100 or more participants can be managed this way.
What are the rules of LaserTag?
The game and safety rules are always explained in detail before the first round in our arena.
Running, climbing, crawling, and any physical contact are strictly prohibited. Fair play is mandatory, and offensive behavior is not tolerated.
The vest is equipped with sensors that can detect impacts, automatically warn players in case of unsafe behavior, and even remove them from the game if necessary. In some cases, a referee may also be present on the playing field.
Specific rules may vary depending on the game mode and will be explained by our team beforehand.
Is LaserTag physically demanding?
Yes and no 🙂 LaserTag is less about speed and more about teamwork, concentration, and reaction skills.
Everyone plays differently – some players leave the arena sweating, while others finish their round feeling relaxed.
What should I wear for LaserTag?
You can wear whatever you like, as long as it is comfortable and sporty. Dark clothing is recommended, as it makes you less visible to opponents in the dimly lit arena.
How many games do people usually play per visit?
Beginners are recommended to play 3, 4, or more rounds. During the first rounds, most players are still getting familiar with the arena and the gameplay. The real fun often starts once you get the hang of it.
Experienced players usually play between 5 and 8 rounds.
Will I play together with other guests?
Since the game is more fun with more participants, groups are generally mixed with other guests.
However, this does not automatically mean your group will be split into different teams. That only happens if necessary to ensure a fair game. We always do our best to respect and accommodate personal preferences.
Can we play exclusively as a private group?
Yes. For this, we offer our Exclusive Package (for example, listed under “Event Package Exclusive”).
With this option, the arena is guaranteed to be reserved just for your group. With packages S, M, L, XL, flatrates, or other offers, other guests may also be on the field.
If the Exclusive Package exceeds your budget, we recommend visiting during weekdays. The likelihood of playing alone is higher then. In our online booking system, you can see the current availability for your preferred date.
Are there different sizes of LaserTag vests?
All vests are the same size but adjustable on the sides. This allows them to fit both slim and larger players comfortably.
Do I need to schedule breaks between games?
We strongly recommend taking a 15-minute break after each game.
In our event packages, such as “Children’s Birthday” or “Teambuilding,” all break times are already included in the total stay. This ensures a smooth and well-organized event experience.
If you prefer a different schedule, it may be possible in exceptional cases to customize the timing (adding or removing 15-minute breaks) when booking by phone.
LaserTag vs. Airsoft vs. Paintball – What’s the difference?
In Airsoft and Paintball, a projectile is fired from the marker. The impact can be painful and usually eliminates the player immediately.
In LaserTag, no projectile is used. Instead, an infrared signal is sent to the opponent’s sensors and converted into points. This makes LaserTag suitable for children as well.
Paintball and Airsoft are typically restricted to ages 16 or 18 and older.
Is LaserTag suitable for pregnant women?
LaserTag itself is generally harmless and participation is at your own risk. However, moving through the arena always carries a risk of accidental collisions with other players.
For this reason, we do not recommend LaserTag for pregnant women. You are very welcome to watch and cheer from our spectator grandstand.
Alternatively, pregnant guests can participate in Quizy or the Mind Arena.
Can people with disabilities or physical impairments play LaserTag?
Yes. At LaserTag Evolution, it is possible to play LaserTag in a wheelchair. We have already welcomed many wheelchair users who played independently or with assistance.
If you plan to visit in a wheelchair, please inform us in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Deaf players or guests with, for example, an amputated arm can also participate without restriction. For detailed planning and individual advice, we are happy to assist by phone or email.
I have a pacemaker. Can I still play LaserTag?
Yes. There are no magnets, batteries, or components at chest level that emit harmful radiation. Modern pacemakers are also designed to withstand everyday electronic signals, such as those from mobile phones.
However, we recommend consulting your doctor beforehand to ensure safety in your specific case.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes. Upon request, we offer group discounts starting from 15 participants. The discount increases depending on the size of the group.
ABOUT PIXEL
What is Pixel?
The Pixel Rooms are your ultimate jump-and-run experience on our interactive gaming floors. At the terminal, you select your preferred game mode and difficulty level before stepping onto the high-tech LED floor.
For example, your challenge might be to collect all blue tiles without touching the red ones moving across the field. You can also choose from memory games, maze challenges, and many other game modes – all freely selectable.
What game modes can we expect at Pixel?
Dive into a world of gaming full of action and fun! Among others, you can experience:
⏹️ Pixel Classic – The red moving tiles are lava – do not touch them! Collect all blue tiles without being caught by the red ones.
🕹 Highscore Run – Collect as many tiles as possible within a limited time.
🏆 Memory Game – Recreate the pattern shown on the floor. Can you remember everything?
🎉 Maze – Only a small section of the field is visible to you. Your goal: collect all hidden blue tiles as quickly as possible.
👾 Pac-Man – Jump across the LED floor and collect the blue tiles, but watch out! Don’t get caught by the ghosts moving through the corridors.
All games are available in different difficulty levels. Good luck chasing the high score! 🥳
Is there a minimum age for Pixel?
There is no minimum or maximum age for Pixel. It’s fun for all age groups without age restrictions.
How many people can play Pixel?
We have two floors, each accommodating up to 5 players at the same time.
Your group always plays privately and is never mixed with other guests.
Additional participants can join by booking discounted add-on tickets during the booking process. In that case, players rotate within the 15-minute slots.
How long does a Pixel game last?
Each Pixel game slot lasts 15 minutes. During that time, you can play as many different game modes as you like. Each individual game mode lasts approximately 1 to 3 minutes.
Depending on the package you choose, the following number of game slots are included:
S Package – 2 game slots (15 minutes each) – total stay approx. 1 hour
M Package – 3 game slots (15 minutes each) – total stay approx. 2 hours
L Package – 4 game slots (15 minutes each) – total stay approx. 2.5 hours
Each game slot includes a 1–2 minute briefing. After every slot, you will take a 15-minute break to relax, grab a cold drink, and discuss your strategy for the next round.
Can we play Pixel in different languages?
Yes! Pixel offers games and instructions in German and English. Some games are also available in additional languages – simply ask us when booking.
Is Pixel suitable for pregnant women?
We do not recommend playing Pixel during pregnancy. However, you are welcome to try Quizy or the Mind Arena as alternatives.
Is Pixel accessible?
Access to the Pixel area is barrier-free. However, active gameplay involves jumping and running, which is not suitable for wheelchair users. Quizy may be a good alternative.
Do we need special clothing for Pixel?
No special clothing is required. Just come dressed comfortably! For more action-packed games, we recommend comfortable clothes and sturdy footwear.
ABOUT QUIZY
What is Quizy?
Quizy is an interactive game show experience where you and your team take center stage! In exciting quiz rounds, mini-games, and challenges, your knowledge, reflexes, and teamwork are put to the test – all in an energetic atmosphere similar to a real TV show in a small studio setting.
Is there a minimum age for Quizy?
We recommend Quizy for participants aged 10 and above.
Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult.
How many people can play Quizy?
Quizy can be played with both small and large groups. The minimum number of participants is 3 players, and the maximum is 18 players.
From 7 participants onwards, multiple players may share a buzzer and compete as a team.
How long does Quizy last?
A Quizy session in Düsseldorf lasts approximately 60 minutes. This includes the gameplay itself.
In addition, there is a short introduction before the game and a recap at the end. Please plan for a total of around 90 minutes for your full game show experience.
In which languages is Quizy available?
Quizy is currently available in German and English.
Can we celebrate events or parties at Quizy?
Yes, absolutely! Quizy Düsseldorf is perfect for birthdays, team events, and group celebrations.
We offer flexible event packages, including exclusive room bookings. Contact us, and we will create your individual game show experience.
Is Quizy suitable for pregnant women?
Yes. As long as the participant is able to stand for approximately 60 minutes, there are no restrictions for enjoying Quizy.
Is Quizy accessible?
Yes. However, depending on body height, it cannot be guaranteed that a wheelchair user can comfortably reach the buzzers.
You are welcome to visit us in advance to test this before booking. Please give us a quick call to arrange it.
Do we need special clothing for Quizy?
No. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in. 😊
ABOUT MIND ARENA
What is the Mind Arena?
The Mind Arena is an Escape Room Battle experience. The game is guided by an on-site operator as well as a virtual moderator.
Teams progress through 6 different puzzle stations, alternating with parts of an ongoing story that is revealed after each station and must be followed carefully. By solving puzzles or correctly answering questions about the storyline, teams earn points.
You can find more information about the story here.
Mind Arena vs. Escape Room – What’s the difference?
In classic escape rooms, usually a maximum of 8 people can play in one room at the same time. Larger groups must split up into separate rooms (if multiple rooms are even available), meaning each group experiences a different storyline.
The Mind Arena works differently: All teams solve the same puzzles at the same time, together in one room – but in separate teams. This increases the competitive atmosphere while also strengthening the overall group experience.
Is there a minimum age for the Mind Arena?
We recommend the Mind Arena for children from 5th grade onward (approximately 12 years old).
Since a game host is present throughout the experience, children aged 12 and above can participate without parental supervision. There is no upper age limit.
How many people can play the Mind Arena? Is there a minimum group size?
Up to 40 people can play simultaneously.
Smaller groups are also possible, but at least 6 players are required to start the adventure. Upon request, we can accommodate up to 48 participants.
How long does the Mind Arena last?
The pure gameplay time is 90 minutes.
The total stay is approximately 2 hours.
What are the rules of the Mind Arena?
The rules and gameplay procedure are explained in advance. Please follow the instructions of our game hosts at all times.
Players may not leave their station, shake boxes, use mobile phones, move decorations or objects, or apply any force.
If you have questions during the game, the game host is available at all times.
Will we play together with other guests?
Yes, if there are available spots and other guests book the same time slot, you may compete against external teams.
However, in most cases, you will play only within your own group.
Are there breaks during the Mind Arena?
No, the 90-minute gameplay runs continuously without scheduled breaks.
However, individual restroom breaks are possible at any time if needed.
Can we book the Mind Arena exclusively for our group?
From a group size of 20 participants onward, exclusive booking may be possible under certain conditions, ensuring that your group plays privately.
Please contact us by phone or email to request this option.
Is the Mind Arena suitable for pregnant women?
Yes. As long as the participant is able to stand for approximately 90 minutes, there are no restrictions.
If necessary, short sitting breaks are of course possible during the game.
Is the Mind Arena accessible?
Unfortunately, access to the Mind Arena is not barrier-free. There is only a staircase and no elevator.
Once inside, participation is generally possible as long as the player can see and hear well.
Quizy may be a suitable alternative for wheelchair users.
Do we need special clothing for the Mind Arena?
No special clothing is required. Everything you need will be provided on site, including instructions. Simply dress comfortably.
Can we combine LaserTag with the Mind Arena?
Absolutely. You can combine the strategic challenges of the Mind Arena with an action-packed round of LaserTag.
This unique combination of teamwork, tactics, and movement guarantees fun for everyone who wants to challenge both their mind and their agility.
You can find more information and our Mind Arena + LaserTag bundles here.
